Talk of the Town
Client:
Ministry of Communication and Information (MCI)
When the pandemic hit Singapore, the government went into full swing to help Singaporeans cope. Some had lost their jobs and had to find roles in new industries, older folk had to learn new skills like how to use video calls, and fresh graduates were grappling with being jobless. So MCI wanted to showcase stories of Singaporeans who made the most of their situation.
My Role:
I led this project as its editorial lead. Together with the team, I helped source for profiles who had compelling stories that would also fit MCI’s requirements. For example, the profiles had to tap on certain government schemes available. Once the eight people were selected, I interviewed four and wrote their stories, and also edited another writer’s profile stories. Click on the images to read more!
